Bob Tucker

I’ve had a camera since before I started school, the first being a Kodak Brownie which at some point I dismantled so it couldn’t be reassembled.  Since then, my photo activity has gone in waves, but I’ve never been without a camera.  When I was in the high school photo club, I discovered the flexibility the 35mm SLR provided.  Primarily, my work has been in slide format, mainly for presentation purposes.

Most of my career has been in the media department of the local board of education and it was through here that I learned of the National Association for Photographic Art.  At one time, most of the photographs used in board publications were my work and an article in a teachers magazine was illustrated by my photos.  Around this time, another photo was used as part of an article in Camera Canada, the NAPA journal.

My subject matter is rather eclectic, although there may be some leaning to travel and history. The photos presented are a cross-section of past work.

See you,
Bob
