Emailing Photos – Greg McMillan
There are many ways to email photos from your computer. This tutorial will cover how to email a photo using a Windows computer. I should also start by saying that I’m not familiar with the methods used on Apple computers since I don’t own one, but I have a feeling that emailing a photo on a Mac might be very similar to the Windows method.
The easiest way to do this would be right from your Pictures folder. In your Pictures folder, click on an image to select it as illustrated below.

You can also select multiple photos by holding down the “ctrl” button in the lower left corner of your keyboard and clicking on the files you want to share. Once you’ve made your selection, click the “Email” button (see below). Now this method applies to those running Windows Vista or Windows 7. If you’re using Windows XP, you may need to, once your files are selected, revert to the “Files and Folder Tasks” pane at the left and click the link that says “Email the selected items”.

Here you will be asked to select a what size you would like your photos to be when attached to your email. I find that the Small to Medium setting is usually sufficient. Once you set the size, click the Attach button and your email program (for me its Windows Live Mail) will open and generate a new message where you will have to (1) enter a recipient’s email address.

Once you have filled in your message (2) just hit send (3) and that’s it.
