Native to Newfoundland, I moved to Ontario in the summer of ’85. I was immediately fascinated with the warm, colourful summers, four season sensations and the beauty that blooms so naturally and diversely the province. My love of photography was born shortly following the birth of our first son. I wanted to capture every moment. I started photographing my growing children with film and, with the dedication of my good friend, was taught the finer details of digital photography. I enjoy the near human idiosyncrasies of our many beings of an animal persuasion.
An Owen Sound Camera Club member for 4 years, I enjoy the rich opportunities to learn and share with this ever growing group of enthusiasts. My photographs are often inspiration for my artwork in oils, acrylics and watercolour. I have a special passion for local landscapes and the inhabitants of the many fields, farms and forests in this area.
